just in case you were interested here are my thoughts for the day

• I am in need of a haircut, even my simple hair style needs to be reshaped every once in awhile.
• American Idol fan still going strong....Michael Johns...loved him on Tuesday night. i am still a huge Carly fan but not sure if the rest of America agrees. I guess i am going to have to start voting.
• LOST is on a vacation until the end of April what a bummer.
• Really, I do not watch that much TV even though it sounds like it.
• I have finished a series of historical fiction novels and I am looking for something new to read any suggestions??
• the books I just read were amazing...Liz Curtis Higgs..Thorn in My Heart is the first in the series.
• just found out that our next Bunco theme is 80's "like what am I gonna wear"
• I need some Big hair for that night!!
• The girls are upstairs playing which is amazing......there is a huge mess which they have promised to clean up
• Ashley is coughing again, not as bad as last time but still no fun...not sure about preschool tomorrow
• we are so looking forward to our family from PA visiting next week... Aunt Karen are you sure you want to sleep on the couch?

Spring has Sprung

Remember the tree out front that shed the leaves that covered our front yard this past fall? Here it is blooming. Anyone know what kind of tree it is? Our street is lined with this tree and it is a pretty sight. I will keep you updated on the tree and its seasons.
Our neighbors Bird of Paradise flowers are lovely and I am glad that we share a yard with them.

For some reason Ashley decided to wear her rain boots and put up the umbrella to pose with these flowers. Emilee could not be left out so she dressed for the rain as well. It was by the way 80 so degree's and not a cloud in the sky.

Emilee found two love birds nesting under the above mentioned tree.

After lunch we had a egg hunt in the back yard. We missed the neighborhood egg hunt yesterday because we were in urgent care for 2 hours. Ashley has an ear infection..the good news is we caught it early.

Easter Eggs

I have been on a blog vacation. We have been busy with life and not doing much that has been blog worthy I guess. Here are the girls dying some eggs and if you can believe it Ashley stayed clean!!! Well except for her hands. The eggs are so bright this year, we added lemon juice and that helped.

For lunch ....what else but egg salad.

Ten on Tuesday

1. Now that there is a computer in the "playroom", I can blog and the girls will play actually play with the toys.
2. Loving this weather!!
3. Just thinking that Chris and I need a date, it has been a while and there are some movies that i would love to see.
4. Ashley is finally better after a long 2 weeks of being feverish and coughing.
5. This time change is really hard on me. I can't get out of bed because it is still dark at 6:30.
6. The girls can't get up either, which is not fun on school days!!
7. For all those Idol fans ....so glad that Danny is gone and so wish that Karly didn't have all the tattoos up her arm. I love her anyway!
8. New favorite drink.......left over am coffee over ice around 3pm, with creamer of course.
9. ....who needs Starbucks
10. My Mom, Step dad, and Aunt are coming to visit in April, we are very excited. Emilee has a countdown.

A few good things

yes, I recycle you all know that...this is one days worth. There was a few more on the counter as well. Is there such a thing as too much of a good thing?
The girls are sporting there new summer clothes that Mommy got at Kohl's...buy 1 get 1 free...another good thing! of course I got myself something too. (they look cold)

Sunday Six

1. I missed Friday five.
2. I thought that Ashley was on the mend but after a day being fever free...it came back!!
3. Not only does she have a fever, stuffy/running nose, but also a persistent cough.
4. It is that cough that had Ashley and I on the couch last night. I think I slept 4 hours.
5. Today was very productive. We moved some more stuff into the house from the garage and now the playroom has a desk and computer for the girls to use.
6. Ashley took a 2 hour nap today and barely coughed at all. Right now she is sleeping and it is quiet!!! amazing......does this mean that I get a good night sleep tonight? I can only pray.
