In a previous post I showed you Emilee's winning art work and I was mistaken. This was her piece that she actually won for. Can I please brag some more??

Emilee has also won her class speech meet for reciting the Goose that laid the Golden Egg and will advance to the next round. She was also asked to try out for the softball All stars in a few weeks. She is so thrilled!!!! Especially about softball, I only pray that she makes it or she may be bummed big time!!!

Ashley has been asking for a year now to play soccer. Finally, this past weekend she got to play. I think it is a great sport for her and she will learn how to play on a team. With Emilee's softball coming to an end this will now keep us busy Saturday mornings. I am not sure what Ashley likes better, playing soccer or wearing the uniform. She is such a fashion diva!!

Emilee won 3rd place in the school Art show, we are so proud of her. It is an abstract drawing of a marker. It is so colorful!!

Our Trip to Tucson

The girls and I took a trip this past weekend to visit my mom and Mike in Tucson, AZ. They were traveling in their RV from Florida and we met up with them. It was a nice weekend filled with fun for all. We stayed in the RV and spent the 3 days exploring the desert. Here are a few pics to enjoy.

On the way home we had a 3 hour delay and we did not arrive in San Diego until 12am...yes they made it to school the next day. Emilee took this picture of Ashley sleeping at the airport while we waited for our plane to arrive to finally take us home.
